February 14th is here again! Valentine's Day might be all about romance but, for us, it is running our own hotel revenue management business that gets our hearts all a-flutter.

So, in the spirit of St Valentine, here is an ode to striking out on your own…

VISION - setting up your own business means that you get to decide what path it takes. Eight years ago we set up Octopus Revenue with the mission of providing a practical and cost-effective approach to hotel revenue management.  We’ve never looked back!

ADVENTURE - you are in control of your own destiny. Every day presents new challenges, which of course become opportunities. The challenge: the global pandemic meant we could no longer provide our hotel revenue management training courses in person. The opportunity: we responded by launching OctopLus, our own eLearning platform!   

LIFE BALANCE - working for yourself gives you the flexibility to fit work around family life, not the other way around.

EXPERIENCE - new markets, new initiatives, new technology…there are always opportunities to learn and grow.
