Birthdays are a time to celebrate and, after eight amazing years, here are eight achievements that we just want to shout from the rooftops…
1. Proving that size doesn’t matter

2. Supporting businesses through the pandemic
Covid-19 has forced the hospitality industry to change quickly. Throughout the pandemic, we were inundated with requests from hotel owners looking for support and advice to help see them through these tough times.
From carrying out full revenue management audits, pricing resets and scenario planning, Octopus Revenue helped put our hotel owners in a better position to cope with the challenges of the pandemic, demonstrating that revenue management is still very relevant in the industry.
3. Providing excellent customer support
In the “new normal”, where working remotely is common and so much is done online, we believe the personal touch is crucial and has been another key to our success.

4. Keeping abreast of emerging trends and new technology
To ensure we are adept at identifying the right solutions for our clients, Octopus Revenue is committed to keeping up to date with the latest in technology and industry trends. We carry out our own research, participate in forums and share knowledge with peers in hospitality to ensure everyone has access to the latest findings.
Recently, the fast pace of the industry has been further amplified by the pandemic and one of the biggest hurdles has been navigating our clients through the disruption of a pandemic. As supply and demand habits have changed, we are looking at trends and using technology to identify new growth opportunities for our clients.
5. The launch of OctopLus eLearning
Our revenue management training courses are one of the key long-term revenue strategies we can offer clients. However, the pandemic meant that we were unable to provide them in person.
Therefore, we are beyond thrilled to be launching OctopLus, our own eLearning platform!
OctopLus will allow even more businesses and their staff to benefit from our first-class revenue management training. An online learning tool, it will allow clients to participate in our range of courses in a way that suits them.
6. The launch of IN4Hospitality
"It’s not what you know, but who you know…". The old business adage is as true now as it ever was, which is why in 2016 we worked with other hospitality providers to create IN4Hospitality.
A hospitality networking group, IN4Hospitality provides supportive and exclusive business networking opportunities for hospitality professionals on a local level.
7. Not just surviving - thriving
Octopus Revenue has continued to grow, despite the challenges of the past couple of years.
We are now a world-wide hotel revenue management company with a great reputation, recognised and respected in the industry for our business integrity and professionalism.
Our skills, knowledge and confidence are constantly evolving. Who knows what the next eight years will bring?!
