Hospitality networking

It’s not what you know, but who you know…

This well-known expression remains true in business around the globe. If you want a successful business, then you need to have a great source of relevant connections in your network that you can call on as and when you need them.

The reach and quality of social and professional networks can significantly enhance the potential to grow your business by making valuable contacts and establishing trusted relationships.

There are plenty of networking groups around but finding one that meets your needs isn’t always easy. That’s why we created IN4Hospitality, a networking group to provide supportive and exclusive business networking opportunities for hospitality professionals.

Here’s three benefits an excellent, and relevant, network can offer:

Better business opportunities. Powerful networks mean powerful business opportunities. More and more in today's business world, we prefer to do business with people we trust so building relationships to establish and fortify that trust is incredibly important. That's why serious entrepreneurs and business owners seek out relevant and exclusive business networking opportunities.

Increased status. Being visible and getting seen is a benefit of networking that is vital in building and growing your career and business, which can increase your own respect and position among peers and others in your industry. Often, just having a relationship with certain people in your industry can enhance your credibility and allow you to tap into their well-established network.
Likewise, networking can also help you to build your reputation as a reliable, knowledgeable and supportive person who can provide useful information and connections when needed. So, you’re much more likely to get leads and referrals as you’ll be the person they remember.

Enhanced knowledge. Networking can be a superb way to tap into advice and expertise that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to obtain – and solid advice from the right person can be a critical factor in business success. Very often, networking also brings opportunities for advanced training and mentoring relationships that you may otherwise miss.

IN4Hospitality was set up in 2016 by Sarah Thompson when she recognised that revenue management events and networking opportunities for hospitality professionals were limited to London.

Held in partnership with STR, who provide benchmarking data, analytics and marketplace insights for the hospitality sector, IN4Hospitality events take place across the UK, are free to attend, and attract around 40 attendees per session.
